oms could just use one binary library to handle it. Everything can stay open so
that people can continue work on
the player, etc..... It sucks that a binary library would have to be included
but oh well you know. Having a fully functional dvd player with one closed
library no one cares about is better than a dvd player that doesn't work all the
way. I think if the oms team were to ask ximian and dell, you could easily get
them to buy the license for you. Then oms could be included into gnome.
